Barrowburn offers accommodation in a lodge style detached bungalow known as, "The Deer Hut" due to its previous use as a base for deer stalking parties.
The Deer Hut provides a basic, but comfortable base for up to four people on a self-catering basis located right in the very heart of the Cheviot Hills within the Northumberland National Park.
Accommodation comprises; Two twin-bedded bedrooms, A bathroom, A cosy living room with open fire (fuel provided) and comfortable sofa-bed and a basically equipped kitchen with full sized oven.
The Deer Hut can be hired for £60 per night. This price includes gas and fuel for the fire.

Please note: because of it's unique location, The Deer Hut has no electric, and lighting is by way of wall mounted gas lamps - Therefore there is no TV, stereo or other electrical equipment provided. Mobile phone networks have no covereage in the valley, although a payphone is nearby. A true "Get away from it all" location!
